Antique Consolidated Glass Pink Satin Cased Glass Quilted Trinket Powder Box Jar For Sale

For your consideration is a beautiful 19th Century powder jar or trinket box made by the Consolidated Glass Co. in their Quilted Phlox pattern and in Pink over White Cased glass. The lid is 2 1/2 inches tall including the clear satin glass finial. The jar is a little over 3 inches tall and 3 3/8 inches across the opening rim. The lid has no damage from use or as made flaws. The bottom rim of the lid was cut and ground on the bottom has the expected roughness.The jar rim has several flakes, but they are not noticeable when the lid is on. There is no other damage to the jar. Not a lot of these early pieces of Art Glass have survived in any condition. It will add a spot of beauty to your glass cabinet or dresser top.
