Antique Dugan Glass Company Fishscale and Beads ruffled bowl in marigold carnival glass, dating to approximately 1910.
The pressed-glass pattern features rows of overlapping fish scales accented by curved beaded bands, a radiating center design, and a dramatically crimped and ruffled rim. Its warm orange marigold base displays iridescent flashes of gold, pink, green, and amber under changing light.
This bowl is from the original early American carnival glass era and is approximately 115 years old. Early Dugan carnival glass was commonly left unmarked.
