Antique ETRUSCAN MAJOLICA PLATE Green Leaf Pink Border Yellow Basketweave
Genuine 1880s Victorian
Size approx. 9\" diameter & about 7/8\" deep.
A remarkable example of hand glazed genuine antique majolica. Colors are rich and jewel toned, glaze glossy and shiny. There is a deeply embossed basketweave pattern at the outer edge with a large leaf in the center. Leaf shows clear veining and is an array of incredibly deep green tones with opaque pink edging.
