Up for sale is a beautiful, complete, and highly collectible Victorian-era banquet/parlor lamp. The base was manufactured by the renowned Edward Miller & Company (Meriden, CT) under their iconic "The Juno Lamp" line, dating back to the mid-to-late 1890s. It comes beautifully paired with an authentic, period-correct glass ball shade.
THE LAMP BASE:

Material: Ornate cast-brass font and pedestal featuring a highly detailed, relief-molded Victorian pattern with cherub/putti faces and floral scrolls.
Condition: Excellent antique condition with a rich, natural aged patina. The lamp has been previously electrified for modern convenience and is in good working order.
THE SHADE: Type: Period-correct milk glass ball/globe shade.
Artistry: 100% authentically hand-painted with beautiful blue and yellow dogwood/wild rose blossoms and green leaves. Under close inspection, the original brushstroke ridges, paint thickness variations, and classic Victorian "one-stroke" gradient techniques are fully visible (no cheap modern decals or transfer prints).
Authenticity Hallmark: The bottom fitter rim features the correct rough, factory-ground edge characteristic of hand-blown late-19th-century glass, rather than the smooth, machine-molded edge found on modern reproductions.
CONDITION REPORT: The cast brass base is structurally sound with no cracks, heavy corrosion, or missing parts. The hand-painted glass shade is in fantastic antique shape with no cracks, large chips, or spidering on the main body. The factory-ground bottom rim shows only the minor, expected "flea bites" and gray metal marks from resting in its brass holder over the past century—entirely hidden from view when displayed.
