Beautiful antique Émaux de Longwy, France cup and saucer in documented D.5685 decor, featuring richly colored exotic florals against a brilliant turquoise-blue ground.
Both pieces are extensively decorated in Longwy’s distinctive cloisonné-style enamel technique, with raised dark outlines separating saturated shades of coral, green, yellow, cobalt, lavender and cream. The cup has a cream interior and deep cobalt handle and rim.
Marked on the underside “Décoré à la Main / Émaux Longwy / France” with factory crest and additional decorator/production markings. Saucer is marked D.5685. C. 1920’s-40’s
