Antique early 1900s Flemish Art Company wooden glove box featuring an elaborate floral pyrography (wood-burned) design across the lid, front, sides and ends.
The underside is stamped “FLEMISH 682 ART,” identifying this as design/model #682. Similar #682 examples are documented as long glove boxes from the Flemish Art Company of New York. �

Inside the lid is an old handwritten presentation inscription which appears to include “July 25, ’04” and “Oakland, Cal.” — a wonderful piece of the box\'s history.
Measures approximately 12 1/2\" long x 5\" wide x 3 1/2\" high.Original hinged lid and decorative metal front clasp. The box is in very nice antique condition for its age, with expected surface wear, small scratches/marks and age-related patina. Interior is unlined.
