Displays age-related surface wear, light soiling/toning and wear to some of the raised/applied decorative elements. Corners and edges show minor wear. No postage stamp or visible postal cancellation. Antique German Christmas / Holiday Postcard – “Best Wishes”
Beautiful early 20th-century dimensional greeting postcard featuring mistletoe, holly, horseshoes and an envelope motif.
Decorated with an embossed gilt border, raised gold detailing and reflective/applied elements that give the card an unusually elaborate three-dimensional appearance.
Reverse is marked:

Printed in Germany
The card has a divided back with period postage instructions reading “United States and Canada One Cent / Foreign, Two Cents.”
Handwritten message on reverse. No stamp or visible postal cancellation.
