Antique H.K. Porter “New Easy” No. 2 bolt cutters, measuring approximately 30 inches overall, with heavy cast-steel construction and compound-leverage cutting mechanism.
These are an older American-made industrial tool with numerous raised cast markings throughout.
Identification (Informed Observation):
I believe these are H.K. Porter “New Easy” No. 2 bolt cutters manufactured during the company’s Everett, Massachusetts period. The cutter is marked EVERETT MASS USA, NO. 2 LEFT, NO. 2 RIGHT, and has the distinctive HKP initials cast into the open ends of the handles. H.K. Porter operated in Everett from approximately 1902 until the company relocated to Somerville around 1948, placing this example broadly within that period.

Condition
Used antique condition with substantial age-related wear, oxidation, surface rust, grime, old paint residue, and finish loss throughout.
The cutting jaws show visible use and wear consistent with an old working industrial tool. Hardware, pivots, adjustment bolts, and compound linkage are present. I have not restored, sharpened, cleaned, or refinished the cutters.
