Description: An antique cast iron Still Bank Building with fancy curved roof and pierced windows , 5-1/4”H, J&E Stevens Co., Cromwell CT, late-19thC. Moore #1122.
Highly-detailed, two part casting held together with a flathead screw on reverse.
Original bronze/japanned finish with gold-painted accents.
Features pierced arched and quatrefoil windows on all sides with gold accented turrets, and “BANK” embossed above the door.
Condition: Very Good overall with honest handling and highpoint wear consistent with age, use and handling.
Note: the original center turnpin has been replaced with a threaded screw/bolt, as shown.
