Dating from the early-to-mid 20th century, this striking export collection features a classic, highly detailed Geisha and scholars motif rendered in rich iron-red (Sienna) pigments, vibrant orange borders, and intricate hand-painted gold gilt scrollwork. The set features a magnificent, ornate centerpiece vase with sculpted side handles alongside the core breakfast service pieces—including the covered teapot, lidded sugar bowl, creamer pitcher, and matching scalloped teacups with saucers. Each authentic piece proudly bears the hand-painted red calligraphy mark reading 「九谷 湯山」 (Kutani Yuzan) on the bottom, verifying its quality craftsmanship and regional heritage. The porcelain and fine artwork are in excellent vintage condition with beautiful color preservation, minor authentic gilt wear appropriate for its age.
