Antique 1920s-1930s Japanese Art Deco figural lusterware porcelain vanity powder jar/trinket box. Designed in the likeness of a Geisha or Japanese lady wearing an orange and iridescent blue luster kimono. The upper head and shoulders lift off as the lid.
Includes 2 pieces (base jar and figural lid). The underside features a red stamped cherry blossom mark with "Made in Japan".
Condition is vintage pre-owned with light surface glaze wear consistent with age. Free of chips, cracks, or restoration. Paint on face and luster glaze remain bright.
