Beautiful, authentic early 20th-century Art Nouveau double desk inkwell manufactured by the renowned Kronheimer & Oldenbusch Company (K & O Co.) of New York. This piece features a striking organic aesthetic with flowing floral motifs, lily-like patterns, and a geometric grid design running along the borders and hinged lids. The stand is flanked by two integrated side pen trays. It retains its stamped maker\'s mark on the interior/underside, featuring the classic stylized branch overlaying an oval \"K & Co\" logo.Note on Glass Inserts: Included with the stand are two vintage aqua-blue glass inkwell inserts embossed on the bottom with \"CARTER\'S / 6 / MADE IN U.S.A.\" While these bottles are genuine early 20th-century vintage pieces, they are likely era-specific replacements rather than the original factory-issued inserts. One insert is slightly larger than the other one; however, both fit the circular wells beautifully, complete the antique look, and display beautifully in the piece.
