This listing is for the antique Starrett no.40 thread pitch gauge as shown. 22 total tpi are covered, ranging from 9 thru 40 tpi. Shows some age, and with a patent date that is 140 years old, doesn\'t surprise me. This pre-dates the twist locks and just uses rivets to hold the individual arms in place. Still opens and closes smoothly and all the gauge points are there and straight. For more detail, be sure to view and enlarge all pics.
