Early Little Imps Throat Ease / Breath Perfume pocket container, produced for the American Confection Co. of Boston, circa early 1900s. Features a great multicolor devil graphic surrounded by flames and the advertising slogan “For All Who Breathe.”
Celluloid-covered metal construction with the original rotating metal dispenser on the reverse. Turning the back opens and closes the dispensing hole originally used for the Little Imps breath pellets. Approximately 1½ inches in diameter. The Smithsonian holds an example of this same Little Imps advertising piece in its collection.
Shows normal age and handling wear, including surface wear and oxidation/tarnish to the metal reverse, while the front graphic remains bright and attractive. No contents remain. Please see photos for exact condition.
