Antique Meissen Porcelain Grape Picker Boy – Old Model No. 8Beautiful antique Meissen porcelain figurine depicting a young grape picker or gardener carrying a conical basket filled with purple grapes.The figure is finely modeled and hand painted in a rich green outfit with purple accents and a dark tricorn-style hat decorated with an applied flower. The basket is filled with individually modeled grape clusters and foliage. Additional applied flowers and leaves decorate the rocaille-style base, which is finished with hand-painted gilt accents.The underside bears the blue Meissen crossed-swords mark.
