Antique Northwood Compote Vaseline Uranium Ruffled Compote c1900 MCM For Sale

This stunning authentic piece of Early American Pressed Glass is a Northwood Beaded Panel Vaseline/Uranium Glass Compote. It features a pedestal base in canary yellow/vaseline with a milky white opalescent ruffled rim and dates to between 1900 - 1910. Crafted using traditional turn of the century methods, the base glass contains uranium oxide and glows an intense neon-green luminescence when exposed to a standard UV backlight making it a showstopper for any uranium glass collector or those with MCM/Victorian era style.
Condition: This compote is in excellent condition for its age with no chips and only one hairline crack (1/2 inch) along the rim (see pic).
