A very fine French Empire bronze hanging and hand mirror. Nicely detailed throughout with reticulated designs and an ornate wreath surround around mirror.
This item can be hung on wall or taken off and used like a hand mirror.
Item has two things to note - first the item was regilded though the reverse is mostly original. 2, the mirror is replaced.
No breaks or repairs I believe they only wanted the surface to appear fire gilded, not to cover any type of damage.
