Beautiful antique RS Prussia hand-painted porcelain covered sugar bowl dating circa 1900-1910. More than a century old, this exceptionally well-preserved piece features delicate hand-painted white blossoms, green foliage and soft pink buds against pale blue panels, accented with original gold gilt detailing.
The elaborate porcelain form features two sweeping handles, a deeply scalloped rim, raised molded details, fitted domed lid and decorative finial. Additional hand-painted floral decoration appears on the reverse and lid.
The underside bears the RS Prussia wreath and star backstamp, consistent with its early-20th-century Prussian manufacture.
Condition: Excellent antique condition with very minimal wear for its age. The floral decoration remains vibrant and the porcelain displays beautifully. There is only minor age-related wear to portions of the gilt decoration. No chips, cracks or repairs noted. Original fitted lid and finial are intact.
