This is a rare, seldom seen deck of Whist size playing cards from the 1920's. The manufacturer was the Standard Playing Card Company in name only. SPCC was one of the companies that made up the United States Playing Card Company in the 1890's, and they were the actual card manufacturer. USPCC often kept successful lines of playing cards from these card makers for many years after the original companies were acquired.
The deck has all 52 cards in excellent condition. There is no joker, but the 3xtra card is often used as a joker. But for whist decks, jokers aren't always found, similarly to Pinochle decks.
The box is also in excellent condition with almost the entire original tax stamp still attached on the box.
