This amazing antique work of art is in absolutely pristine condition! The piece has no chips, cracks, scratches or imperfections and is in "like new, never used" condition. Here are more details:

Antique spill vase or match stick holder made in Germany by Rauenstein Delft circa 1900-1919.

The vase measures 5" tall, 3 1/2" at the longest part, and 2 1/2" wide.

Exquisitely made of fine porcelain, this stunning blue and white piece features two Dutch children sitting on a fireplace hearth as they eat and drink. The super detailed children wear traditional period Dutch clothing complete with clog shoes and stylized hats. Above the children is a mantel with three Dutch porcelain plates flanked by two canisters or candle holders. Each side of the fireplace depicts a beautiful sailboat at sea with birds flying above. The back of the piece has a fence motif with horizontal and vertical blue lines. Inside the vase or holder, the porcelain is strikingly white and clean, with no sign of use.

Under the base of the piece it is clearly marked "Delft' and the production number "1920".
