Original Hancock County, Ohio reversible coverlet dated 1850 decorated with grape vines, eagles, stars, medallions and potted flowers. Yarn is blue on beige
Slight discolored marks, photographed on both sides. Fringe is one inch long. Weaver and owner are unknown.
Overall the coverlet is in very good condition, particularly for its age, there is staining as is common in antique coverlets. Please see all photos for best description and examples of staining and occasional loss to fringe. I photographed both sides of the coverlet including small areas where the seam is dividing.
