Antique Sheffield buttonhole shears for sewing, stamped SHEFFIELD on the shank. Measures 4-3/4 inches long overall. One blade has the characteristic buttonhole notch for cutting buttonholes. Steel construction with a dark age patina and surface wear consistent with age.
Condition: The pivot is loose — the blades open and close freely. I have not tested the cutting ability; sold as a collectible/display piece. See photos for exact condition.
