ANTIQUE COTTON BATTING CHRISTMAS SHEEP
WONDERFUL antique spun cotton batting Christmas sheep ornament measuring a 3-1/2" long by 3-1/3" tall. Featuring a sturdy stance, sheep a hand painted face, sturdy turned ears (these look like leather or hard paper), a longer tail, and is wrapped in fine tarnished gold crinkle wire that forms a hanger as shown. Unmarked, but made in Germany dating around 1910.
Standing independently, his condition is lovely with no tears, holes, smells, or damage - he does have a bit of age related tanning here and there with a small spot on one side as shown - a perfect Christmas ornament or decoration for your feather tree!
