Up for sale is a beautiful antique French porcelain tankard pitcher made by the renowned Tressemann & Vogt (T&V) factory in Limoges, France. This piece features a classic, intricately detailed, hand-painted blackberry motif displaying clusters of rich dark purple ripe berries, unripened fruit, detailed green foliage, and thorny branches wrapping around the body.
The top, handle, middle accent band, and base feature beautiful heavy gold scalloped gilding. The bottom bears the authentic green underglaze factory backstamp mark ("T&V" inside a rectangle over "FRANCE") utilizing the 1892 to 1907 production era.
