Antique unmarked heavy copper cooking pot or saucepan featuring a deep cylindrical body and a long riveted metal handle with a triangular heart shaped three-rivet mounting plate.
The pot has a warm naturally aged copper patina with surface wear, edge bends,scratches, oxidation and discoloration consistent with age and use. The interior lining is heavily worn and shows exposed copper and areas of green verdigris.
This substantial piece would make an excellent antique cookware display, primitive kitchen accent, collection piece or candidate for professional restoration and re-tinning.
