Here are 4 strands of mostly antique Venetian trade beads. Most of them (like the striped ones) are drawn beads. Long strands of glass are stretched out and sliced while still warm. They are strung on raffia and you can see that all sorts of other beads that were strung from piles of loose small beads. That was the way many beads coming out of Africa were done way back in the day. 1990-95ish was a good year for buying strands of beads from African dealers.
Strands measure 26\". One of the strands came apart but I think all of the beads are there. They can be used in your bead making project or just admire them. Please study the pictures carefullyas they are an integral part of this listing. Please email me if you have any questions.
