For your consideration .... Antique Venetian Fancy Glass Turquoise Beads Beaded Necklace.
This old grand dame is a very old Venetian beaded necklace. The beads are all hand decorated while the main bead is hot hot. Each bead features gold leaf center bands with hand applied green and while and gold glass swirls. Unfortunately age has not been a friend to this piece. Nearly every bead has some decor loss and it really needs to be restrung. If I had the time I would restring it myself as it would give new life to this old beauty.
Necklace measures 32\". These Venetian beads graduate in size from the largest center bead measuring 11 mm on down to the smallest end bead which measures 4 mm. Beads are hand-knotted in between with silk cord. You should seriously consider restringing since the silk cord has stretched with age.
