This antique late 19th-century Victorian Rococo/Baroque Revival oval frame features roundel/medallion central motifs surround by scrolling acanthus leaves, large curling C scrolls, shell, leaf, flower, and leaf sprays in a honey brown gold tone. Inner liner is a painted cream and pale pink. Ideal for a period portrait print or art piece. There is general wear, detail loss, paint loss especially on corners and paint and detail cracking which give this frame great character. Overall, frame is in good condition for its age.
