Antique Wood Rabbet /Rebate Plane, Screw Arm, Skewed Blade, by J. K. Seaman For Sale

Available for sale is a beautiful, well crafted example of a screw arm, skewed blade rabbet plane. No information on J. K. Seaman has been found, but he was seemingly a master craftsman in both wood and metal. Note the embedded metal name plate, star on top, shield on arms, metal rings on the fastening nuts, decorations around screws.
The bevel-down blade is 2.3 inches wide and skewed at an angle of about 30 degrees. The kind of wood used is unknown. The plane weighs 12.5 pounds and is 12 inches in length. Every thing that appears to adjust something on the plane has been photographed. Hopefully, ers can determine the use of each adjustment.
