This unbranded millfeatures a straight iron hand crank with a turned wooden knob, a fullyfunctional opening/closing hopper lid, and a lower catch drawer. Notably, thesmall pull-out drawer features classic interlocking dovetail joints fordurability, while the main box base is constructed using traditional smallpins/nails, characteristic of regional hardware-store mills from the1910s–1930s.
Condition Details:
·Exterior:A structural crack in the wooden drawer and a missing drawer handle. Thewood has an antique look with lots of knicks. The iron hardware showsauthentic, age-appropriate wear and oxidation but remains sturdy and intact.
·Mechanism:The internal steel grinding burrs are in remarkably clean condition withminimal discoloration, minimal rust, and no heavy residue. The hand crankrotates smoothly. Tough to get the drawer out/in -tight fit.
