WHAT IT IS — Six original hand-drawn comic art pages, ink over graphite on Bristol board. Page 1 splash includes the original printed in-art credit \"SCRIPT & PENCILS… JOE EDWARDS\" — explicit on-page authorship attribution. Edwards both wrote and drew this story solo. Story features Archie, Reggie, and Veronica. Published in Archie\'s Pals \'n\' Gals #174, cover-dated March 1985.
THE ARTIST — Joe Edwards (1921–2007) was a longtime Archie Comics staff artist for over 50 years. He created Li\'l Jinx in Pep Comics #62 (1947) and drew thousands of Archie-line stories, gags, and feature pages from the late 1940s through the early 1990s.
CONDITION — Excellent for age. Light edge handling and mild paper toning typical of 40-year-old Archie production pages. Period-correct paste-up word balloons and editorial marginalia present — these are standard for in-house Archie production from this era and confirm the pages were used in the published comic. No tears, no creases, no major stains.
REVERSE — Each of the 6 pages bears the original Archie Enterprises copyright stamp on the back — standard production marker confirming authentic in-house Archie original art. Photos of all 6 backs included.
DIMENSIONS — Standard Archie production size: approximately 11\" × 17\" Bristol board, with roughly 10\" × 15\" image area per page.
