Authentic German Imperial Hunting Cutlass / Dagger with original scabbard. This piece has been in my family for many years and was passed down from my grandfather, whose second wife was German.
Overall length is approximately 20\", with a blade length of approximately 13.5\". Features a beautifully engraved blade depicting traditional hunting scenes, along with an ornate crown pommel and period-style grip. Marked “Adolph Swartz Hannover” on the spine.
This piece appears to be all original, with no loose parts or visible repairs. The scabbard shows normal age and wear consistent with a genuine early 20th century hunting cutlass.
Overall, the piece presents very well and displays beautifully.
