to say, this is an extremely rare collector\'s grade piece of Blenko Art Glass and Mid Century Lighting all in one package is getting to be an understatement these days. truth be told, I have never seen a complete authentic vintage Blenko Lamp in person until the day I brought this home. I have seen bases with mounted MCM glass that is labeled as Blenko that isn\'t and usually is vintage Empoli or Murano. I have seen authentic Blanco lamp bases without their finials and I have seen modern reproductions with their weak attempts to mimic the real deal. this my friends is the real deal, from top to bottom 100% authentic unaltered and complete
1950s Mid Century Blenko Cobalt Decanter Lamp with all original hardware including the adjustable harp, the original wood base, the original shade which has seen its better days but it\'s hung in there for the entire ride so far. And last, but certainly not least that original beautiful Cobalt Glass and Brass Flame Finial!
The very few actual Blenko Made lamp bases I have seen in person have all been missing the glass and brass flame finial or it was damaged heavily as in the brass part was there while the glass was broken and all but gone LOL. And though there are countless options as far as a finio goes that fit right? with the rest of this lamps, theme and patina, none of them are the original flame stopper. while resin duplicates are ok fill ins plastic will never show like hand blown art glass and authentic patina is times creation not a cosmetic rendering.
Personally I would display it with the original shade and not have a problem. it\'s being kept together and ships with purchase to honor the original completeness factor and the rarity of that in 2026. The new owner may upgrade to any style shade they fancy should they see fit.

this is a authentic blenko art glass decanter lamp with its original hardware and finial in 100% working condition. no damage. only natural signs of age and minimal wear from the 1950s Original and complete from top to bottom. no cracks, no chips, no major dings in the wood. no major bends in the metal Etc. there is an honest patina that absolutely authenticates its age I did nothing to remove any of that. this lamp is only been cleaned with a microfiber cloths. I\'m sure the new owner can go very detailed oriented if they\'d like to, but I wanted it to be sold in 100% unaltered original condition. if you\'ve been shopping for a complete one at a price tag that isn\'t complete Cherish, Etsy, or Vintage Boutique Pricing Insanity...here is your unicorn.
