ATA chapter 34 is navigation and 34-45 is where transponder and DME live, so the inspection reference places this module inside a navigation line replaceable unit rather than making it a standalone box.
Sold AS-IS. The original FAA Form 8130-3 is included: status INSPECTED, work order 2516/07-05, released 1 June 2005 by Avborne Accessory Group under certificate YA4R667M and EASA 145.4702. That release is over twenty years old and the module has been stored since, so it is NOT current. Not sold as an airworthy part. Buyer and installer are responsible for eligibility and re-certification.
About the source of this item
From the leftover inventory of an aviation component shop that did inspection, repair and certification work; when the company closed the remaining stock went to sale. That origin is real, but it does not mean this unit is approved for flight use today.
