Bright, colorful, iridescent rainbow colors on a specimen of turgite, which is a combination of goethite and hematite. Iridescent turgite occurs in a few localities such as Pahang, Malaysia, where this specimen originates but also Graves Mountain, Geogia. These specimens from Malaysia are relatively new on the market and many specimens are extremely small in size. This one measures a respectable 3 X 1.75 inches (7.62 X 4.45 cm) and displays a wild assortment of colors. The cube is for size perspective as it measures 1 cm. It is not part of the sale.
