BARQ\'S ROOT BEER Bottle - \"It\'s Good\" - 1957 For Sale

Edward Barq bought the Biloxi Artesian Bottling Works in 1897. He invented Barq\'s Root Beer the next year, 1898. The name was sunomonous in the Mississippi Gulf as well as the whole south. Sales took off during Prohibition and the company continued to grow. In the 70\'s, the company moved to Barg\'s birthplace, New Orleans, and they soon had hundreds of markets from the Carolinas to Hawaii. In 1995, Coca Cola bought the company.

This is a nice looking art deco embossed Barq\'s Root Beer bottle. This bottle also features the embossed letters of \"Drink Barq\'s It\'s Good\" on the face, also some orange peel feel, and also the art deco diamond shoulder.

This bottle is in good shape. It does have a tiny flea bite on the bottom, and minor case wear, as shown
