This is a limited edition model made to commemorate the 25th anniversary (1963-1988) of the production of the #110, which is even described as the epitome of knives. Since then, many commemorative models with etchings on the blade have been released, but this model with a fully etched blade is rare and in a class of its own. It is believed that the silver box packaging is not used for any other models except this limited edition. It must have been a commemorative limited edition for the maker as well.
