This archive is being offered as a single collection and has not been separated. The historical continuity between the photograph and associated legal, industrial, and mining documents makes it a particularly compelling research archive.

Original documents as discovered. No reproductions. I acquired this collection at an estate sale in Wilson, North Carolina. The wife was Mary Jane Schumacher, married name (Dr. Hoke) Bullard. Her father is the purchaser throughout these deeds. AJ Schumacher would serve our country in World War I and World War II as a Quartermaster, receiving many awards including his time at Fort Devens during the massive 1918 “Spanish Flu” pandemic.
