Bassano Italian Ceramic Wall Pocket – Blue & White Floral
Beautiful vintage Italian ceramic wall pocket featuring an ornate Rococo-style reticulated design with pierced openings, scalloped edges, raised decoration, and hand-painted blue floral decoration on a creamy white glazed ground.
The reverse is hand-signed “BASSANO” in blue with a distinctive artisan/workshop monogram above the name. The piece also retains its original Rigattieri gold foil label from S. Marco, Venezia, Italy.
The wall pocket features a deep central receptacle and pierced openings along the upper section for wall mounting. A decorative accent suitable for Italian, European, traditional, cottage, or vintage-inspired interiors.

CONDITION
Very good vintage condition overall. The glaze remains bright and the hand-painted blue decoration is well preserved.
There are minor flea bites/small glaze losses along some of the delicate ruffled edges and pierced openings, as shown in the photographs. These areas are consistent with the fragile nature of the reticulated ceramic construction and age of the piece.
