The Benchmade 748 Narrows is one of the most technically impressive folders Benchmade has produced, combining a full-size M390 blade with an incredibly thin 6Al-4V titanium handle. At only about 2.4 oz and roughly 0.28" thick through the handle, the Narrows manages to give you a full-size premium titanium folder without the bulk normally associated with one.
The Narrows also uses Benchmade's specialized AXIS® lock design with a torsion-spring system rather than the traditional Omega-spring arrangement found in most AXIS knives. M390 brings excellent edge retention and corrosion resistance, while the full titanium construction gives the knife a solid, premium feel despite how ridiculously thin and light it is. This is a very different knife in-hand than a standard Bugout, Osborne, or Griptilian.
