C1890'S DRESSEL NEW YORK CENTRAL TAIL CABOOSE MARKER LAMP LANTERN COMPLETE.Neat, earlier version, c1890's tail (caboose) marker lamp lantern manufactured by Dressel with their maker's mark tag up top. Interior wooden handle, complete with the correct lens set-up. Some wear from age on the lenses, but no cracks. Cast along the bottom into the body of the lamp very boldly, "NYC" for the New York Central. Complete with the bracket ring but end of the arm is not present, and earlier style kerosene font with an Adlake burner on the end. Great looking earlier NYC piece.
