Nicolas Camille Flammarion [1842 1925] was a French astronomer and author. During his career he authored more than fifty titles, including popular science works about astronomy, including several notable early science fiction novels, and works on psychical research. In 1882 he began publishing his articles in the magazine L'Astronomie, and also maintained a private observatory in France. Listed for sale is an extensive untranslated [ALS] autograph letter signed by Nicolas Camille Flammarion. The letter is dated Paris 18 February 1889, is a total of six pages written in French and is signed ''N.C. Flammarion'' in black fountain pen. The letter measures 8.00 x 5.00 inches, other than trivial toning it is in fine condition. The letter is authentic and is a nice example of this noted French astronomer.
