Condition Notes: Excellent used condition. Lightly carried but looks fairly new. Blade retains a strong factory black finish and sharp edge. Description & History
The Camillus Blaze series was designed by renowned custom maker Darrel Ralph and produced by Camillus in the USA during the early-to-mid 2000s, prior to the company’s closure in 2007.
This Blaze 2.82 (Model 717) features a black-coated 440 stainless tanto blade, textured black Zytel handles, and Darrel Ralph’s assisted-opening system operated by the flipper or dual thumb studs. USA-made examples are preferred by collectors over the later imported versions.
Clean, functional examples of the original USA production remain popular with fans of early 2000s tactical folders and Darrel Ralph designs.
