Offered here is an extraordinary matching pair of vintage Casual Lamps of California sculptural table lamps, dated 1990.
These large statement lamps combine dramatic textured white plaster bodies with substantial clear Lucite/acrylic plinth bases.
The deeply dimensional plaster construction features projecting architectural geometric forms that create dramatic shadows and give the lamps a different appearance from virtually every viewing angle.
Viewed from above, the sculptural elements form an especially striking architectural/starburst composition.
The massive white plaster bodies appear to float above the clear Lucite bases, creating a wonderful contrast between texture, weight and transparency.
Both retain vintage metal hardware and clear Lucite finials.

Each lamp measures approximately:

These are large, substantial and very heavy lamps.

Both lamps have been tested and work perfectly.
IMPORTANT CONDITION INFORMATION
These are vintage lamps in original, unrestored condition.
Each lamp has one small area of plaster loss/damage.
Both damaged areas are shown clearly in the photographs. Please examine those photographs closely before purchasing.
The textured plaster surfaces show dust, marks, discoloration and general age-related surface wear and would benefit from professional cleaning.
The clear Lucite/acrylic bases have scratches, marks, residue and age-related wear. Metal hardware shows oxidation/patina.
I have intentionally not attempted to repaint, fill, restore or aggressively clean these lamps. Any professional cleaning or conservation is being left to the next owner.
Despite these cosmetic imperfections, the lamps display beautifully and both work perfectly.
Shades are NOT included.
