13.25" diameter with a shallow footed rim on back, 7/8" high. This size is known as a Cabinet Plate, suitable for decor or use. Auratic refers to it as a 'SHOW PLATE' as it is so special and unique
Made of finest quality porcelain available, this company is known for super luxurious and extremely high end porcelain with stunning traditional Chinese themes. Many heads of State worldwide have been gifted EMPEROR YELLOW pieces, this color is wondrous and they are quite famous for it. About 'Empire Yellow'-Pigment grains are covered by special material by special method to form a protective covering on their surfaces. In this way, glaze would not easily erode or destroy pigment grains at high temperature. The capacity of even coloring and temperature resistance led to the present surprising series of products— “Empire Yellow”.
This piece is MOLDED so that the tiger, trees, and rocks, have a very unique DIMENSIONAL EFFECT as they slightly stand out from the base background. Each individual part of the tiger is molded separately.

It is hard to notice in photos, but there are 2 steep mountains behind the tiger's tail that are molded in form only [no painted details] and they add another layer of beauty.
