This Coca-Cola “2 Bottle Fountain” features two classic Coke bottles nestled in clear simulated ice inside a silver-tone tub with the iconic red and white Coca-Cola logo. Although called a “fountain” on the original packaging, this is a decorative illuminated display and does not use or circulate water.
Turn on the battery-operated light (batteries NOT inluded) and the clear ice takes on the beautiful warm amber glow shown in the photos — a terrific display effect for a Coca-Cola collection, retro kitchen, bar, game room or memorabilia display.
Includes the original Coca-Cola box and original fitted Styrofoam packing inserts, an especially nice addition for the collector. Please review all photos for the design, condition, measurements, original packaging and illuminated appearance.
PLEASE NOTE OPERATIONAL ISSUE: The battery-operated light does illuminate, as photographed; however, the control lever is temperamental and must be positioned carefully for the light to activate. If the lever is moved too far, the unit produces a loud humming sound. Because the control does not operate consistently throughout its range, this operational issue is being fully disclosed and the piece should be purchased primarily for its collectible/display value rather than with the expectation of consistently reliable operation.
When illuminated in a darkened setting, the clear simulated ice takes on the warm amber appearance shown in the photos. With the light off and under normal room lighting, the simulated ice appears clear.
