For sale is a scarce, vintage souvenir building promotional bank cast by Banthrico in the late 1950s: Dade Federal Savings.
Compare plate # 925 in Monumental Miniatures which gives it a III/V rating in rarity and a value of 3/6 [$100-$200].
Also plate # 558 in Replica Buildings: A Visual History.
It measures 5" x 2 5/8" x 5 1/4" to the top of the tower.
Along its base it reads: Dade Federal Savings; Flagler at First; One of the Nation's Oldest and Largest; insured Savings Home Loans.
On the inside wall of the tower is the name of the bank: Dade Federal Savings.
The trap is intact but lacks a key and looks as though someone tried to pry it open.
The bank is otherwise in good condition and shows great architecture.
