Datolite, large crystal, Bor Pit, dalnegorsk, East Russia For Sale

Here is another \"old time\" Dalnegorsk specimen, a very large Datolite crystal, over 2 pounds. Not perfect, there is a chip on one of the side faces, and natural contacting on one side, where this came off the matrix. The bottom is very clean, almost recrystallized, in any case intact, looks like the crystal came off the pocket margin there.... Despite these flaws, this is, in my opinion, still a very good and impressive example of a large Datolite crystal from the Bor Pit in Dalnegorsk. I think the crystal displays very well, and the general blocky shape is still very much intact. Some internal area\'s of translucency, and a nice light green color, with slight area\'s of yellow...This comes out of an older mineral lot, which was collected in Russia possibly during the late 1980\'s, but became available in 1990. This crystal is 922 grams, or exactly 2 lb and 0.5 oz in weight. The size is 4 inch x 4 inch x 2 inch. Please be advised, I ship with Ground Advantage.
