This piece, typically called a tea caddy (though sometimes called a ginger jar, even on the RD site) was produced by De Porceleyne Fles, aka Royal Delft. As such, it bears the artist's mark and an alpha-date. BTW, your mentioning 1952 in your primary description leads many to initially think year-of-production; 1952 is the model # if unaware.
The alpha-date on this, CK, indicates production in 1966. The artist's mark, T.KO, is that of T.H.M. Kool who was employed at DPF from 1954-1967.
