Here\'s a small 1930s Stewart Warner tombstone radio. The cabinet has an original finish, and features an interesting cut out grille.
The cabinet is complete and has its original finish. The good news is that I see almost no veneer damage at all. One very small flea bite on the top back, in the black area. That would be easy to cover. The original finish is worn, and there are paint splatters on the top and sides. There are some small nail holes (?) on the bottom edges of the sides -- they look original, maybe to attach the base. Hard to see in the photos, but I want you to be aware. Please look carefully at the photos.
The grille cloth looks to be an older replacement. The knobs look original and match.
There are three larger screws drilled into the back edges, like there was a back at one point. No back is present now.
The chassis is unrestored and will need to be repaired or gone through by a qualified technician if the radio is to be used. It looks complete. Very dusty.
The radio will be carefully packed in a sturdy box with bubble wrap and peanuts. I have two shipping services listed -- UPS Ground and FedEx Home Delivery. FedEx is currently a bit cheaper and seems a bit faster. Please pick whichever you prefer.
